Pause
Out on the town and can’t find your debit card? Maybe it’s on the kitchen table, maybe it’s in your car, or maybe it’s in the hands of a criminal. Until you find out for sure, grab your computer or smartphone, log into Web Banking under Manage ATM cards and click Pause by your card.
Pause will instantly stop any debit card transactions from being approved until you Un-Pause your card. This safety feature will prevent all debit card approvals for up to 14 days (at which point the card will cancelled to avoid potential security breaches). Note that while your debit card is paused, your bill pay and checks will still be active. Pause is available to any Southern Bancorp debit card holders through web banking or by calling our customer service number 1-800-789-3428.
