Baptist Health salutes Dorothy Stuck with the Amazing Spirit Award. The award goes to those who embrace life by remaining active, healthy, and focusing on personal growth at 55 and beyond.
Most people wouldn’t expect Dorothy Stuck of Hot Springs to be white-water rafting at the age of 86 and she isn’t. She did that when she was much younger, a mere 84. Stuck, a 15-year breast cancer survivor, is an active member of the Arkansas Affiliate of the Susan G Koman for the Cure and the Survivor Parade committee.
This retired civic leader and businesswoman, also stays busy with other activities. She has served on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of Southern Bancorp, a development bank holding corporation, since 1986. She chairs the board on one of its non-profits, the Southern Good Faith Fund.
